The CRL Horizontal Wet Belt Sander is good for grinding vase bottoms or pottery. It uses standard 4" x 106" (102 x 2690 mm) wet/dry abrasive belts that are driven directly by a one horsepower, single phase motor. The Steel Pulleys and Tightening Device are taken from the CRL/Somaca Cat No. 2200RP Vertical 106" Machine design. Water is sprayed onto the belt to keep heat and grinding dust down. There is a Flat Platen behind the belt at the drive end of the tank.
